Synopsis:
Three Texas University seniors, on the eve of their graduation, roadtrip to a Mexican border town for a final weekend of drinking and debauchery. Their vacation becomes a nightmare as the trio run afoul of an ancient blood cult looking for human sacrifice. Based on true events, Borderland blends the raw terror of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the gritty true crime realism of In Cold Blood, evoking a world of paranoia, dread and horror.
Director's Bio:
Berman was born to activist parents in Berkeley, California and spent his childhood growing up on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. In 2002, Berman directed his first film, "Briar Patch" (aka Plain Dirty) a southern gothic thriller starring Dominique Swain and Henry Thomas. Borderland is his second feature film.
