Synopsis:
A young pig slaughterer dreams of escaping from his suffocating life in the Italian countryside. In a moment of panic, he makes a break for the big city-- bringing along his girlfriend's teenage sister for the ride. Director's Bio:
Sara Colangelo is a Student Academy Award nominated director and a Masters candidate in NYU's Graduate Film program. A New England native, Sara graduated from Brown University with an honors degree in History. After graduating, she was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship and lived in Bologna, Italy, where she studied 1930s and 40s Italian Cinema and first began making 16mm films. Sara has worked extensively in the music video and commercial industry and is currently writing her first feature film to direct.
