Synopsis:
In the spring of 2005 a young filmmaker set forth to make a documentary reflecting an element of contemporary music that had yet to be fully examined. Who he found was Electric Apricot and what he achieved was enligtenment. Unexpectedly in searching for enlightenment, the duality of existence was unveiled. Director's Bio:
Besides his status as one of the most original bassists of our time, Claypool is known for his obscure gritty lyrical approach. He fronts such bands as Primus and Oysterhead, as well as doing a plethora of solo and collaborative projects with Tom Waits, Bernie Worrell and Henry Rollins. It is Claypool's warped and darkly humorous perspective on Americana that sets him apart from his contemporaries. | |
