Synopsis:
A beautiful gypsy opens the door to a forgotten place where dancing and expression come together to form an array of distant memories.

Director's Bio:
Austin based filmmaker Marcel Rodriguez directs documentaries about the culturallycomplex South Texas Border. Presently working on a documentary calledInternational High School which explores the experiences of recent immigrants from Mexico and Central America who attend a high school for immigrants. His first feature documentary, Edcouch-Elsa, named after a small town community, shows the diverse lives of 4 high school students on their journey to find acceptance to Ivy League schools. Born and raised in San Antonio, with roots in South Texas, Rodriguez explores the lives ofLatinos while addressing various social challenges such as immigration,education reform, and community building.
