Synopsis:
A young Heavy Metal fan in Morocco struggles with his passion for the music.

Director's Bio:
Writer/producer/director Luke Morris runs London-based distribution labels Warp Films and Cinema16. He produced the short film Je t'aime John Wayne winning the European Film Award, the TCM Classic Shorts prize and a BAFTA nomination. Heavy Metal Drummer is his first film as a writer/director.Writer/producer/director Toby MacDonald directed his first short film Je T'Aime John Wayne Ð about a young Englishman obsessed with French cinema Ð which won the TCM London Film Festival, was nominated for Best Short at the BAFTAs and won a special recommendation at the Berlin Film Festival. His second Short Film Mexicano was also selected in the Director's Fortnight at Cannes. He has since directed the television series My Life in Film for the BBC and directed award winning commercials.
