Additional Sponsorship Opportunities

Conference-specific Major Sponsorships of the Music, Film, or Interactive events -held exclusive within category for each conference- may be available. The number of Super Sponsorship and Conference Major Sponsorships are limited, with the highest level of visibility and value being delivered through a Super Sponsorship of the collective SXSW Music, Film and Interactive Conferences and Festivals. Sponsors have historically found the greatest value and exposure through Super Sponsorships and the seamless sponsorship exclusivity they deliver.

The SXSW Town Lake (Now named Lady Bird Lake) Stage
The Town Lake Stage events are a series of free-to-the-public, charity beneficiary concert events held on SXSW's largest stage at Auditorium Shores in downtown Austin. The Town Lake Stage concerts bring tens-of-thousands of general consumers to Auditorium Shores each year (more than 32,000 attendees in 2007). Sponsorships of the Town Lake Stage deliver assets including: inclusion in the advance print, television and radio ad campaigns, onsite branding and attendee interaction opportunities, VIP area access and much more.

The SXSW Registrant's Lounge
Centrally located near the SXSW Conference activities and headquarters hotel- for registrant networking and interaction. The SXSW Registrant's Lounge will be open approximately 4-7 PM during each of the 9 days of SXSW Music, Film and Interactive Conference events (Friday, March 7th - Saturday, March 15th, 2008). The SXSW Registrant's Lounge will be THE meeting place for SXSW Registrants to network, following the daytime SXSW Conference activities and before nighttime Music Festival Showcases and Film Screenings/events.

The SXSW Registrant's Lounge is open to all SXSW registrants and will include complimentary beverages and DJ entertainment. Sponsor assets include branding on Registrant's Lounge invitations, listing in each conferences directory, banner/signage opportunities onsite, product sampling and demo opportunities in the lounge and more.

The SXSW Daystage Lounge
Centrally located on the trade show floor and loaded with live, "unplugged" musical performances, demos, panels, happy hour receptions, etc. Sponsor assets include: logo on stage backdrop and SXSW Day Stage web page (w/ hyperlink), a program directory ad promoting the sponsorship, branding on the Day Stage schedule boards onsite and at SXSW registration. Includes a credential package.

The SXSW Email/Web Center
The main convention center resource for registrants to check their email and browse the web. Email/Web Center sponsorship assets include: browser home pages being set to sponsors designated URL, branding in the SXSW Conference Program Directory, on the desktop of all Email/Web Center machines and on the highly visible Email/Web Center banner located above the Email/Web Center. Sponsors may distribute promotional items in the Email/Web Center promoting its products as well as interact with its users.

Staff Shirt and Jacket Sponsorship (includes staff shirts & jackets for SXSW Music, Film & Interactive)
Each year SXSW has more than 1,200 staff and volunteers handling all aspects of the events' execution. Staff and volunteers have constant one on one contact with talent, conference attendees, media and thousands and thousands of general attendees making this sponsor branded opportunity a very effective and lasting marketing tool. As a part of this sponsorship, apparel sponsors may brand their own products along with the SXSW branding for use as staff and volunteer wear.

Conference Registrant Tote Bags- "The Big Bag"
All conference registrants are given a Big Bag with unique -conference specific- artwork containing dozens of industry relevant inserts. With sponsor logo prominently printed on one side of these long life bags, this is a great, lasting branding opportunity.

The SXSW 2008 Film Pocket Guide Sponsorship
The Film Pocket Guide is the day-to-day film-screening schedule carried by thousands of film registrants as they attend SXSW Film screenings throughout the nine days of the SXSW Film Festival. Sponsorship includes: sponsor branding on the front cover plus, the back of the pocket guide is reserved for the sponsor's own creative.

The Music Conference Opening Night Dinner
A sit down, four-course meal -for participating registrants- that will occur on Wednesday, March 12th at the Four Seasons Hotel. Sponsorship assets include: an opportunity to address all attendees, demo/sampling opportunities, and a sponsor banner on site.

The SXSW Softball Tournament and Barbecue
This event brings music industry and media figures together with artists for an afternoon of friendly competition, barbecue & beer. Sponsor logos are imprinted on the caps and jerseys along with banner display, product sampling and demo opportunities plus branding in all related promotional material.

Conference Registration Lanyards
Worn by registrants for the duration of each conferences events, this opportunity provides a front and center branding opportunity worn by thousands of registrants. Sponsorships sold separately for each conference; lanyards are provided by the sponsor with its message imprinted.

The SXSW Film Opening and Closing Night Parties
High profile, heavily attended film conference events that provide excellent branding opportunities as well as onsite customization capabilities. Sponsor programs and products can be featured. Industry attendees enjoy refreshments, finger foods and entertainment at two of the most anticipated film events. Each party's sponsorship is sold separately. Sponsor exposure includes: program book listing as sponsor, onsite banner and promotional piece display, branding on custom invites given to all film registrants and more.

The SXSW 2008 Film Awards
Sponsors receive the following assets: the opportunity for a sponsor representative to make a brief statement at the beginning of the awards ceremony, complimentary appetizers and cocktails presented by the sponsor at the beginning of the event, listing in the Film Program Book and all Film Awards promotions as the official sponsor, branding on custom invites given to all film registrants, placement of sponsor banners onsite at the event.

The SXSW International Reception
A great way to network with music industry representatives from around the world. SXSW will produce and promote an International Reception inviting all internationally based music registrants (artists, label reps, etc) to network with industry figures from the US. As the official sponsor your brand will receive a listing in the SXSW Music Program Book and branding on custom invites for the reception, which are given to all music registrants. Sponsor may hang its banner onsite and distribute promotional materials during the reception. Attendees will enjoy complimentary beverages and finger foods as they network with other key industry figures.

The SXSW Press Suite
The central location for more than 4,000 SXSW registered members of the press to gather -over the full 9 days of SXSW Conference events- to send information, conduct interviews, write stories, network with other press representatives and more. Computers, a fax machine, telephones, internet connections and light refreshments are available in the suite. Sponsorship assets include: listing in the film, interactive and music program books as the official sponsor, sponsor banners hung in the suite, sponsor promotional demo opportunities and other onsite customized branding.
