Formed at the tail-end of 2003 Errors immediately caught the attention of fellow Glaswegians, Mogwai, who took them under their wing before inviting them to join the roster and record on their self-run Rock Action label, their first release was a highly limited 7" only release, ‘Hans Herman’. Released in February 2005 the record sold out in a matter of weeks and co-incided with the band finding themselves featured on MTV UK’s flagship TRL show. The A-side later appeared alongside the likes of Belle and Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub and Arab Strap on the Scottish Arts Council's SXSW 2006 sampler disc.

Having started 2006 with support shows alongside label bosses Mogwai in Dublin, Belfast and one of their sold-out run of shows at London’s ICA, Rock Action released ‘How Clean Is Your Acid House?”. A 5-track mini-album which went on to get a whole load of support from national UK radio figures like Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, Mary Anne Hobbs, Vic Galloway and John Kennedy while hip magazines like Vice fell for their charms. Where with “Hans Herman” Errors marked themselves as a promising band, “How Clean…” was a release that firmly established them as one of the bands ‘most likely to’ on Glasgow’s current scene.

The band take elements of new-wave, electro, 90’s rave, acid-house and make it their own along with the contemporary influences of purveyors of glitch electronica and IDM such as kid606, boards of canada and fourtet before melding it together in a package that has captured the attention of club kids, indie-kids and DJ’s alike not to mention their innovative videos for tracks such as 'Hans Herman' and 'Terror Tricks which have become staples on MTV2 UK's 120 Minutes. So far their live dates have included events at Glasgow’s infamous School of Art and a German Parliament building in Berlin while alongside their own sold out dates, they have also supported acts as diverse as Sons & Daughters, Explosions In The Sky and Death From Above 1979 to name but 3.

With “How Clean…” the band recorded in their own studio and mixed with John Cummings of Mogwai in the Castle Of Doom, there is no question that this latest record has further cemented Errors as one of Glasgow’s most innovative and exciting bands. Currently the band are in the studio working on material for their next record scheduled for release in early 2007 preceded by a single release in late 2006.
