"Amplified Heat sounds like it took the blues, made it snort a serious dose of cocaine and turned up the amps." - The State News

They have been described as a “swirling vortex of blood, spit, and history” by the Austin Chronicle and as “loose and lethal, down and dirty Tex-ass booze blooze rock (think pre-disco-supercomputer ZZ Top); a sweaty, stubbled, fried-to-a-crisp-in-the-desert-sun power trio” by The Week in Metal.

For the past couple of years, Amplified Heat have been busy touring extensively throughout the U.S. They have also recently returned to the studio to record their follow-up to "In for Sin." Different from their debut, the new material will feature influences of what the brothers have been
listening to on the road: early rock like ZZ Top, Freddie King, Deep Purple and Moving Sidewalks.

The band is currently working on re-mixing and re-releasing their self-titled EP as well as their follow up to In For Sin. Both are slated for early 2007 release.
