From the land of Billboard chart toppers Stargate ("Irreplaceable”, "So Sick","Unfaithful“) comes another amazingly gifted songwriter. Chris Lee is considered among the most exiting new developers of the hip-hop genre in Scandinavia. His current hit “Nightlife” is a club track, but his other material clearly demonstrates both his strong ties to the singer-songwriter tradition, as well as to hip-hop. Chris Lee is a talented rapper who blends rap, melodies and vocal harmonies into an organic sound. He sings and plays many of the instruments himself and played at some of the largest festivals in Scandinavia in 2006. Several of his songs have been played on Norwegian radio stations and the music video for “Nightlife” is currently in heavy rotation on Norwegian TV. Chris Lee is working with engineer Jon Marius Aareskjold (Stargate, a-ha) on his debut album.
