The Faceless Werewolves are a rock and roll trio based in Austin, Texas. The band formed in 2001 in Denton, Texas when the three members met while attending college. The band moved to Austin in late 2005 to take advantage of its strong music scene. They played SXSW 2006 to great reviews.

The band released their debut CD titled �Medium Freaky� on Super Secret Records on October 10, 2006, and it was recorded in Austin at the Bubble with Frenchie Smith.

While the band has a unique sound, they list their influences as Sonic Youth, T. Rex, Royal Trux and The Kinks.
