They�ve put in packed house appearances with the mythic soul singer Sharon Jones and caused the legendary Mighty Hannibal to enthuse, �Y�all got more soul than my grandpa�s long johns!� Presenting the Dansettes, a three-singer homage to the days of rhythm and finesse, backed by the Hammond-powered Brothers United. These three girls and the young gentlemen who behind them have got an ear for tradition and a dead-on sense of the now. They pay tribute to the Old School with a knock-down set of brand new songs. They�ve unlocked the magic behind Stax/Atlantic/Tamla soul, Brill Building pop, and the sweet syncopations of New Orleans� R&B -- and know how to make the mix thrill an audience. They�ve gone up and down the East Coast and across the country, and will no doubt soon be coming to a venue near you.
