Black Joe Lewis and Cool Breeze have been howling Joe's unique brand of talkin' punk blues for a couple of years in both Texas and Louisiana. Inspired by his friends, the Weary Boys and Scott Biram, Black Joe Lewis took to the guitar and wrote a song the very first day. Black Joe is unconcerned with boundaries or genres and has played with bands like Eve and the Exiles, the Weary Boys, the Demon's Claws, Grady, Gary Clark, Jr., and Scott Biram.
Black Joe Lewis has a vinyl EPon the Italian label, Shake Your Ass Records, and a CD on Weary Records. Joined by punk blues legend, Walter Daniels on harp and tenor sax, Dan Hoekstra on bass (former guitarist with the Sons of Hercules) and veteran drummer, Charlie Gennari (has played with Joe King Carrasco, of late). Expect more from Black Joe Lewis's powerful blues/punk/soul experience!
