Weedeater rose from the ashes of the southern-drug-lord-band Buzzov-en. Fronted by "Dixie" Dave Collins, this three piece doom juggernaut has been eating audiences alive for more than 10 years now.

You can catch Dixie and the boys in High Times Magazine taking part in the recent "Stoner Rock vs. Weedmetal" debate with stoner-guru Bobby Black, or see them in Thrasher Magazine in a van interview after a Portland OR show.

With three releases under their belt and a fourth due out in the summer of 2007 on LA's Southern Lord Recordings, Weedeater has gained national attention for being one of the most moving live bands in recent history, with the proof lying in each of the hundreds of shows they play every year.

They've toured with COC, Crowbar, and a host of other doom legends. Last year they destroyed you at Room 710, and this year they will blow the roof off of Emo's IV Lounge on March 16th at the Tone Deaf Touring showcase. See you there.
