American Flamewhip
J-ROD:lead vocals, guitar, occasional drums D-MITCH: lead guitar MAMA: lead drums and percussions, occasional guitar and vocals File under: "dirty rock & roll." Hailing from the illustrious city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, AMERICAN FLAMEWHIP was formed in the fall of 2004 by J-Rod and MAMA after the dissolution of their former band the VaGiants. Enlisting the services of guitarist D. Mitch (formerly of Canadian blues rockers the New Meanies, currently playing drums in Nettwerk recording artists Nathan) whenever his schedule permits, AFW (or A.F. DUBBS) uses their gargantuan powers of rock to produce pure, unadulterated ferociousness with trashy and snarlin' streetwalkin' vocals, fiery high-voltage guitar eruptions, and uncontrollable drum savagery. Inspired by 60s garage, 70s arena rock and 80s metal, their hard-partyin', sin-inspired anthems are guaranteed to robustly stir your wildest sexual desires and feverishly fuel your unquenchable thirst for all things decadent and hedonistic in life. |
