Following a now legendary packed show at The Drink on 6th at SXSW 2005, The Crash earned glowing reports in several influential magazines including Billboard, Music Week, Austin Chronicle and Record Of The Day, A worldwide publishing deal with EMI Publishing was the reward and a further year of being pursued by US and European labels. The band had left Warner Finland after three gold selling albums and took the decision to self produce and self finance the new album, Pony Ride, and have been ending 2006 by securing license and distribution deals in several territories around the world, including North America, UK, Europe, Japan and Australia. 2007 promises to be the year that The Crash finally gets the chance to fulfill the potential that everyone who has seen and heard the band has been raving about.
