As the only unsigned act on the 2006 KCRW showcase at SXSW last year, AM licensed his debut album to Defend Music and released his debut album "Troubled Times". With over 27 song placements in film and television from this 10-song CD, AM's songs can be heard in television shows such as HBO's "Big Love", ABC's "What About Brian" (2 songs), ABC's "Men In Trees", and MTV's "Real World" (3 songs).

AM's debut CD "Troubled Times" was named iTunes "Best Indie Album of the Year", hailed as "instantly classic" (LA Weekly), and the “missing link” between Coldplay and Wilco, with ample dashes of Beck and Bowie.

Myspace.com, recently featured AM on their homepage, described him as having "a clear, expressive voice, meaningful lyrics, and a magical touch on the guitar which equals some great songs and are translated perfectly on AM’s new CD 'Troubled Times'."

Supporting "Troubled Times", AM has shared the stage with such notable acts as The Flaming Lips, Pete Yorn, Duran Duran, Gary Jules, Better Then Ezra, The Wreckers, Rhett Miller and G. Love & Special Sauce.

At the 2007 SXSW Music Festival, AM will be showcasing his second album "Soul Variations" which is currently being shopped for worldwide licensing. www.myspace.com/amsounds
