The Chumps were and are one of the greatest bands to come out of Austin and the great state of Texas! They are mentioned in the same breath as the DICKS, BIG BOYS, and the MOTARDS. An odd ball collection of 4 messed up individuals who managed to transform the face of punk rock. Their unique style, influenced by ROSE TATTOO, The RAMONES, and the The GERMS, created a frenzy in Austin, and indeed around the world, that is still being talked about today.
