Delicious Food features three of Austin's most excellent musicians in Tosca's Dr. Ames Asbell on viola (performed with Dixie Chicks, David Byrne) , Tosca, Golden Arm Trio, and Benko's Erik Grostik on Double Bass (animated in the film Waking Life and performed on the scores to Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly), and Brown Whornet and Golden Hornet Project's Peter Stopschinski on Piano (performed with Daniel Johnston, Golden Arm Trio). Formed in 2005, this group plays trio music that ranges from subtle sensual grooves to fx laden frenetic noise to math rock, all with classical instruments and excellent skills. These musicians represent the upcoming musical masters of Austin's experimental scene.
