Attack Formation consist of an ever changing group of contributors and participants built around a seven to ten person core group from Austin. More than a band that breaks with convention, the result is always sure to move you. Whether recorded or live they refuse to let you simply be a passive listener.

Their newest long-player, "We Are Alive In Tune", to be released (April 10, 2007) on Australian Cattle God Records, is set to be their most fully realized project yet. Hooking up with (super-producer) Stephen Ceresia and with the debut of five solo bands within the 13 tracks,(Butcher Bear, You & Me Falconry, Reaganometry, Horse Rappaport, Strong Silent Type), these guys & girls are poised for a very busy year.

Started in 1999 and having included over 186 members and contributors, Attack Formation has been a mainstay of the Austin music scene ever since.

Whether performing in a four-piece unit or a 13 person collective, Attack Formation never fail to get people moving. They say, "take music, break music…"

The collective are currently finishing three new records that will be released in the fall of 2007.
