DJ Steve Aoki Kid Millionare
Genre: DJ Hometown: Los Angeles CA

Entrepreneur Steve Aoki has so many fascinating aspects to his life, where
does one begin? From founding a successful record label to becoming an
internationally known DJ, from producing music to launching a stylish
clothing line, the man is doing it all. Whether it is back-to-back
business development meetings or maintaining an outrageous travel schedule
as a DJ, Steve defines the word multi-tasker. Steve's apartment at the University of California at Santa Barbara aka the Pickle Patch was host to hundreds of music acts including big bands At the Drive In and Jimmy Eat World to smaller bands like Discount (the old band of Allison from The Kills) and Adamantium which created an influential underground music scene. It was at this very apartment where Steve's passion for music evolved into a business --organically grown from the moldy carpets of the Pickle Patch, Dim Mak Records was born.
