Danny and the Nightmares formed April Fool's Day 1999, in Waller, Texas. Over the course of the last seven or so years, the band has recorded hundreds of songs that have yet to be released. The current line-up of the band includes Danny Johnston (vocals, guitar, piano), Jason Nightmare (guitar, bass, farfisa), Bridget Nightmare (drums), and Margaret Lejeune (cello).The band love to play rock n roll together, eat lots of pizza, and watch countless episodes of the Twilight Zone on Danny's big television.
The band are currently recording the follow up album to "Freak Brain" (Sympathy for the Record Industry, 2005), titled "The Death of Satan". A new 7'' single is slated for release on Spain's Munster Records label in February.
