Rob Crow - I Hate You, Rob Crow (Single Version)
Download   |   Stream
Rob Crow is the frontman for the incredibly popular indie rock band Pinback. This is the story of how he casually made the best record of his career, and why its called Living Well.

Somewhere between the breakneck touring to support Pinbacks breakthrough Touch and Go debut, Summer in Abaddon, and the release of The Ladies debut album (his collaboration with Zach Hill of Hella/Team Sleep), the impossibly prolific Rob Crow had an epiphany: SLOW DOWN.

Not coincidentally, this revelation occurred shortly after the birth of his first child (named Robertdale Crow III, of course). Crows time at home was suddenly more important than ever. He came to realize that if he was going to be away on tour for long stretches of time, it would have to be for something he truly believed in with all his heart. Otherwise, why leave the side of the beautiful family growing right before his eyes?

Crows family is all over Living Well, his third solo album: in the album title, the artwork (layered with dozens of family photos), and the intensely personal lyrics which document Crows courtship with his wife, their marriage, and the subsequent birth of RRCIII.

Not only is Living Well Crows finest solo album by a country mile, it also transcends many of Pinbacks most canonic moments. It has the hooks and heart that he is famous for, with a refined focus not seen in Crows other projects.
