OCELOT is Cory Kilduff and James Welsh, programers and knob twisters of the hardcore band The Rise. In between tireless writing sessions for the new RISE record �RECLAMATION PROCESS�, they started work on some other material that was more electronic heavy. Friends started asking them to remix songs for them. It turned out to be a great time and they started asking more people if they could have a hand at re-interpreting their songs. Soon bands such as SNAPCASE, ELLIOTT, THE AKA�S, THIS DAY FORWARD, AT ALL COST, THROWDOWN and more were put through samplers, laptops, and vocoders. They spent the first year sending bits of songs over ichat between their homes in Texas and England and assembling the pieces when they were in the same country.

Last year they came together with friends from Dallas, Tx THE SECRET HANDSHAKE, to produce and co-write their full length for TRIPLE CROWN RECORDS. With that under their belts Ocelot entered the studio to work on a series of 12 inches and a mini-lp for IHEARTCOMIX records. 2007 is shaping up to be a promising year for them.
