Catchdubs - "Tell Me When To Go (Remix)"
Download   |   Stream
Based in Brooklyn, New York, Nick Catchdubs has been dropping his signature party sets (hip hop, dancehall, electro, rock and more, with original remixes and re-edits and an emphasis on new music) all across the country for the past three years. It's not an "everything goes" approach for its own sake, or a non-stop stream of smash-togethers; just lots of different music mixed well, to rock any type of crowd.

Equally at home opening a packed show for the Clipse or a full house dying to see MIA or Lady Sovereign at their US debuts, Nick also performs solo club gigs throughout the country, and DJs back to back with the likes of Diplo & Low Budget of Hollertronix, Flosstradamus, and Kanye West's DJ A-Trak. He has been a featured guest at The Rub in Brooklyn ("Best Party To Dance Sweatily To Smart Music" - Village Voice), and current residencies include a weekly NYC radio show (FADER Magazine's "The Let Out," airing on East Village Radio every Friday from 6-8pm) and parties throughout New York and Brooklyn.

On the production side, Nick's blends, remixes, and re-edits have been getting play on college radio and even commercial stations like Power 106 in Los Angeles, and have been featured on compilations and vinyl including The Rub's "It's The Motherf*cking Remix" series ("Motherf*cking brilliant" - Pitchfork) and the acclaimed Clipse mixtape "We Got The Remix." He's also working on original beats and production under the 908 moniker, including remixes for Dr. Octagon, NYC band The Double, Paris's Adam Kesher, and more.

Nick recently founded Fool's Gold records with A-Trak. This spring they will begin to release only the hand-picked best in new music, from Kid Sister, GLC, and more.

During daylight hours, Nick is also an editor at The FADER magazine and a graphic designer for clients that have included Stussy, ESPN, and Big Dada records.
