Rey�z was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela to his Venezuelan father and Colombian mother. He lived in Venezuela for six years until his family packed up and moved to Chicago, Illinois. After spending roughly a year in Chicago, he moved again to a small town in Texas. Keene, TX became home for Rey�z. Rey�z started singing with his brother at a very young age. They performed at their fathers local church on a regular basis. Rey�z was influenced by music greats such as, Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, Shai, Jodeci, and Tevin Campbell. Rey�z has the ambition, talent, and the hard to find drive, that will make him a music legend. In 2005, Rey�z sent his demo to G4 Recordz, owned by Dallas' own Play-N-Skillz, and received a call back from A&R Saint, asking him to come in and try out for them. After several meetings with the A&R, the Executives including Play-N-Skillz, called Rey�z in for an audition to perform infront of them. Now, Rey�z has now signed a contract with G4 Recordz and is now in the process of recording his next album.
