The Bangers
Genre: DJ Hometown: New York NY
www.scantilycladnyc.com
Why The Bangers? ?Why anybody else?? is more like it. I mean, you?re free to book whoever you?d like, but if you want a guaranteed blast, with people losing their minds and going bonkers on the dancefloor, then go with them. Otherwise, you?re taking your chances...

The Bangers (Nik At Nite, Rok One & DJ Jaclyn) are your favorite DJs? favorite DJs. They play the widest variety of dance music without boundaries or restrictions, and their crates put other jockeys to shame. Funk, New Wave, Synth Pop, Soul Classics, Post Punk, Punk, Italo Disco, Disco, House, Techno, Freestyle, Electro, Miami Bass, Baltimore Club, Baile Funk, Metal, Ghetto Tech, Grime, Hip Hop, Crunk, Electronica, Industrial, Goth, Cold Wave, Classic Rock, Dub... Whatever. It?s covered.

The Bangers strive to be informed, unpredictable and fresh for every gig. They play venues nationwide, and in their hometown of New York City, where they might be seen tearing up parties like Motherfucker, Rated-X, Sneak Attack and especially their residencies: Shot-Out Saturdays at Savalas, and FUN at Studio B (the biggest and baddest new club in Brooklyn).

They?ve spun alongside some of the best DJ?s and performers in the game: Z-Trip, Kool Herc, Grandwizard Theodore, DJ Assault, Diplo, Aaron LaCrate, Cut Chemist, Girltalk, Frankie Bones, A-Trak, Disco D, Stretch Armstrong, Evil D, Grandmaster Caz, Prince Paul, Neil Armstrong, Ursula 1000, Nickodemus, Gant-Man, Wajeed of The Platinum Pied Pipers, Franki Chan, JDH & Dave P of Fixed, Lupe Fiasco, The Rapture, Foreign Islands, Radio 4, Bonde De Role, Teddybears, Matt & Kim, the list goes on...

In addition to setting dancefloors ablaze, The Bangers also produce. Their first vinyl release, ?The Mashacre? on AV8 records, containing the now infamous blend of Khia's ?My Neck, My Back? over The Smiths? ?This Charming Man?, sold out immediately at vinyl specialty stores worldwide. ?The Bangathon?, a mix-cd of timeless dancefloor hits and all original mash-ups was a best seller at Turntable Lab. Next came a collaboration with Diplo, when he selected their rework of Janet Jackson?s ?Control? to appear on the Hollertronix Vinyl #4. However, it was the notorious mix-cd ?Purple Reign: Prince vs. Dipset? which first brought them national attention in publications like Billboard & Vice Magazine. Recently, they just completed a remix for The Rapture?s new single ?W.A.Y.U.H.?, and several new mix-cd?s are on the way...

The Bangers are an unpredictable bunch, you never know what you?re gonna get. Whatever it it, rest assured that it will have more than enough bang for your buck.
