SXSW DEW MUSIC FESTIVAL AT TOWN LAKE BENEFICIARY

The Town Lake Stage concerts benefit Latinas Unidas Por El Arte.

Latinas Unidas Por el Arte (LUPE Arte) is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization formed with two goals:

Offer an avenue for community based women artists to use their creativity in bettering their communities, and nurture these women with a space where their art preserves their cultural traditions as a foundation for explorations of our world today.

Provide the after school program Niños y Atre which provides quality arts education emphasizing the importance of literacy, academic achievement and critical thinking skills, without risking the loss of a cultural foundation established by the child's own expressions of their family's tradition, community's involvement, and city's outlook.

SXSW Dew Music Festival at Town Lake Restrictions

Absolutely no food, drink, coolers, pets, glass, or weapons allowed on premises of Auditorium Shores. Personal umbrellas (not beach umbrellas) are allowed. Exceptions for food/beverage made only for consumption by children under 5 years of age, and exceptions made for guide animals or wheelchairs for disabled persons.

SXSW BADGEHOLDER (& HANDICAPPED) SHUTTLE FROM AUSTIN CONVENTION CENTER

SXSW and Capital Metro are providing free shuttle service (about every 15 minutes) for SXSW registrants from the Austin Convention Center (4th & Neches) to the SXSW Dew Music Festival at Town Lake.

PARK & WALK

A limited amount of parking (free and paid) is available within a few blocks of Auditorium Shores. This parking is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be considerate of the neighbors - don't park in the residential neighborhoods. You will likely be towed.

FREE PARK & RIDE SHUTTLE TO SXSW DEW MUSIC FESTIVAL AT TOWN LAKE

SXSW and Capital Metro have teamed up to provide free park & ride shuttle service from Austin High School (West Cesar Chavez) to the free SXSW Dew Music Festival at Town Lake.

The Capital Metro SXSW Park-and-Ride shuttle will run every 7 minutes from the parking lot at Austin High School to Auditorium Shores.
