Transatlantic Air Travel
Media Travel has seats available now from London Gatwick to Austin for only £375 (plus £147.20 taxes and charges). They are also offering flights from London Gatwick to Houston (with possibility of a car hire in Houston)for only £299 (plus £129.40 taxes and charges). SUPERSHUTTLE PAY PER RIDE VANS FROM OUTLYING HOTELS

SXSW has arranged for SuperShuttle of Austin to provide transportation to music badgeholders on Wednesday, March 14 through Saturday, March 17 between the outlying hotels and downtown (Hilton) on a pay-per-ride basis. Service is limited to specific times and schedules for each hotel (to be posted in the lobby) and the number of vehicles and seats available. Cost is $10 per person, per ride. Read below carefully:

Inexpensive round-the-clock shuttle service between the Austin airport and all points in Austin. Fare to/from downtown hotels is $12 per person one way ($21 roundtrip). Buy your ticket upon arrival at the SuperShuttle counter near baggage claim 1. Additional $3 discount for advance reservations made online. Call SuperShuttle or use the fare quote link on the website for non-downtown locations. Shuttles run on demand 24-hours a day, and wait times are usually minimal. Capital Metro Airport Flyer
Public transit with service direct to downtown every 40 minutes, seven days a week for a one-way fare of 50 cents. Service within 1- 2 blocks of Hilton Downtown, Capitol Place, Omni, Driskill, Intercontinental, and Doubletree Guest Suites. Board outside baggage claim on the lower level, second lane at the far right.
