Requirements:

The SXSW 2007 application will work with most Palm OS-based PDAs and smartphones running Palm OS 3.5 or later, including the Palm Treo smartphones. Installation:

If you are on a Windows desktop computer and are using a Palm OS device:
Click here to download a Windows application (.EXE file) that will install the application using the PalmSource Installer.

If you are using a Windows Mobile or Pocket PC device, you are on a non-Windows desktop computer (Mac, Linux) or you are downloading the application directly from the web to your device:
Click here to download a self-extracting Palm OS application (.PRC file) that when run on your handheld will install this application.

Be sure to check back for program and schedule updates.

Daylight Savings Time Update:

Because Daylight Savings Time goes into effect early this year on March 11th, during the the first weekend of the SXSW festival, you may have problems with alarms and calendar entries. Palm has a device updater that fixes its settings for 2007 and beyond that you can download. You can get this updater from palm.com's support website.

Creators:

The SXSW 2007 schedule was created by:

Ben Combee and Patrick Sullivan, with contributions from Charles Wilson (original database code) and Lionscribe (Google Maps integration code). You can see Ben talk this year at the SXSW Interactive "Designing for Convergent Devices" panel.

Audio playback requires Pocket Tunes Deluxe. A trial version can be downloaded from the Pocket Tunes website.
